There is a well-known sofa manufacturer (that we won’t name, but you know which it is!) that always has a “sale” on. Well, there’s one provider – a Big one, The one – that always has a sale on as well.
“Free broadband for 3 months, no startup costs, free router, etc”. Where’s the catch? You’ll be locked into a 5-year contract and the promotional prices end after one year.
And in case you want even cheaper, many well-known Brands and Trademarks use other trading names or subsidiaries to sell you their leftovers, making a profit out of what would be discarded.
Yes, that super cheap broadband is not superfast: you are given the remaining capacity at your local broadband cabinet at that instant, well after all the business and priority users have been served their data.

Mobile
All our mobile services are SIM Only and last 30 days. We don’t trap you into a 24-month deal to give you a shiny new mobile that becomes e-waste in two years.
We can set you up on one of our partner mobile networks, O2 or Vodafone. The choice will be based on your type of usage, the location where you use your mobile the most and other secondary factors that we will discuss.
O2 will always include Roam Like At Home (RLAH) free of charge: you can use your mobile in the EU as if you were in the UK.

Notes:
(1) The 8 hours SLA (Service Level Agreement) means that any fault to your service that renders it inoperable will be acknowledged within 8 working hours.
The resolution depends on the complexity of the matter, but you will be kept informed on the progress with timely updates, each within the 8 working hours SLA of the previous.
This doesn’t mean that you will have to wait eight hours between updates: it’s the maximum guaranteed delay but our updates always come much faster than this.
Generally, we are aware of a potential problem with your connection even before you notice anything.
(2) World Travel Select is one of the Vodafone packages oriented towards international travellers who need to remain in the loop wherever they are on one of the five continents.
For a low daily fee, WTS lets you use your package bundles while abroad.
(3) The included handset is offered on a lease purchase basis, with a lease duration of three years. Once the three-year lease ends, your service costs will be reduced by £3.50 / month (ex VAT).
